Educating our children and young people is a big task. It requires a lot of work from many different people. Parental support and involvement are critical in the educational process. At Diplomat Elementary our parent friendly atmosphere encourages parents to participate in various experiences with their children. Parents have many avenues to communicate needs and expectations to the school. Parents are invited to become a part of the school through participating in the School Advisory Council, volunteering in a classroom, having lunch with their child, and attending school events. A strong home school partnership helps our students acquire a firm foundation in the basic skills as well as learning the value of education. Our school-wide theme promotes parental involvement in reading, math, and character education.
